Frequently Asked Questions

Let's Get It Signed

Find answers to common questions about our mobile notary services.

What is a mobile notary?

A mobile notary is a commissioned notary public who travels to your location to perform notarial acts, rather than requiring you to visit an office. As a mobile notary, we come to your home, office, coffee shop, hospital, or any other convenient location to notarize your documents.

What ID is required for notarization?

Arizona law requires that all signers present a valid, government-issued photo ID that includes:

  • A photograph
  • A physical description
  • A signature
  • An identifying number

Acceptable forms of ID include:

  • Arizona Driver's License or State ID card
  • U.S. Passport or Passport Card
  • Military ID
  • Permanent Resident Card/Green Card
  • Foreign Passport (with appropriate visa if required)

The ID must be current (not expired) at the time of notarization.

Can you provide documents or legal advice?

No. As a notary public, I cannot prepare legal documents or provide legal advice. I am not an attorney licensed to practice law in Arizona. I may not give legal advice or accept fees for legal advice.

You must provide your own documents ready for notarization. If you need assistance with document preparation, I recommend consulting with an attorney or legal document preparation service.

What are your fees?

Our fees consist of two components:

  1. Notary Fees: We charge the standard Arizona notary fee per signature.
  2. Travel Fee: A travel fee based on your location and the time of appointment.

For loan signings and other specialized services, we charge a package fee that varies based on the complexity and time required.

For a specific quote based on your needs, please contact us with details about your document(s) and location.

Visit our Services page for more detailed pricing information.

  • Mesa
  • Chandler
  • Gilbert

How do I book an appointment?

Booking an appointment is easy! You have several options:

Please provide details about your document(s), preferred date and time, and your location so we can give you an accurate quote and confirm availability.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept multiple payment methods for your convenience:

  • Cash
  • Credit/Debit Cards
  • Venmo
  • Zelle
  • PayPal
  • Checks (for business clients only)

Payment is due at the time services are rendered.

How far in advance should I schedule?

We recommend scheduling at least 24-48 hours in advance to ensure availability at your preferred time. However, we understand that notary needs can arise unexpectedly, so we do our best to accommodate same-day requests when possible.

For loan signings, we recommend scheduling as soon as you know the closing date, as these appointments typically require more time.

For urgent same-day service, please call us directly at (480) 432-1600.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

We understand that plans can change. Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We appreciate at least 4 hours' notice for cancellations.

Cancellations with less than 2 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee, especially if we are already en route to your location.

Do you notarize electronic documents?

Currently, we primarily perform traditional paper notarizations. However, Arizona does allow for Remote Online Notarization (RON) under certain circumstances.

If you need electronic document notarization, please contact us to discuss your specific needs and whether RON might be an option for your situation.

What if I have multiple documents or signers?

We can notarize multiple documents and/or for multiple signers in a single appointment. Please let us know in advance how many documents and signers will be involved so we can allocate sufficient time for your appointment and provide an accurate quote.

Remember that each signer must be present and have valid identification.

What should I have ready for my appointment?

To ensure a smooth and efficient notarization process, please have the following ready:

  1. Your document(s) ready for signing (do not sign them before the notary arrives unless specifically instructed to do so)
  2. Valid, government-issued photo ID for each signer
  3. Any supporting documents that may be required for your specific transaction
  4. Payment for the notary service
  5. A clean, well-lit space where the signing can take place
